Buy Multiple Basics

Black Cardigan (XS)
Long cardigans are great to drape over a short dress or used as a light jacket. I got the cardigans in ivory and black from Express and was surprised that it fit. I've gotten other things from Express and they always ended up being too big.

I also have been wanting a pair of oxford shoes, but didn't want to spend a load of money on something that is so trendy. Oxford are versatile, you can wear them with skinny pants, leggings, shorts, dresses and skirts. I've been on the hunt for something that isn't totally flat or more than 3 -4". Can't believe its taken me this long. I seen a number of oxford, but the majority have been without heels or with super high heels and I wanted neither. Flats look bad on me because it makes my short legs look short. These are the perfect height - about 2.5". They're casual enough to pair with anything and can also be dressed up (like here) with a tunic and stockings.

Kitty Cat Earrings By Betsey Johnson $18

Cardigan from Express $49.90 (XS) in black. The ivory color below is in XXS. The fitting doesn't vary that much except the XXS is a bit shorter. The material is really nice and soft and the buttons are sparkly...great buy.

Rope Stretch Waist Belt from Free People: $34 and comes in the color black also

Cheetah Sweater Tunic from Forever21: Size Small (a bit loose) and it comes with its own black belt. It's on sale right now for $8.99!!

Jason Oxford from Baker Shoes: $59.95 and in size 5.5 (fit true). I think it's pretty comfortable. I only wore it for a couple of hours, so I can't promise anything.

Ivory Cardigan (XXS)

Top is by Wilfred from Aritzia in XS - original price is $40 and I got it for $32. The entire store is on sale right now. I think the sale ends in 2 days. When you go into the store, ask the rep for the list of things on sale. All the brand are broken down by categories of 20%, 30% or 40% off.

Cardigan from Express $49.90

Skinny Leggings from BEBE size 24

Tory Burch "Sally 2" Peeptoe Wedges . I got mine at Bloomindgales for $265-- I got these in size 5.5 and they are pretty true to size. The leather is really nice and looks expensive. I love her logo and all her shoes are so classic. I always get tons of compliments when I wear her them. <3>

Free Me

This is my Sex and the City outfit. OMG I was so excited to see the movie. I have been waiting forever to see this.

I have to say SJP has the most amazing body, I am so jealous. She has the most perfect butt and boobs. Its firm and perky...hahha!

Everyone should go watch the movie. It's fun, light and lots of fashion!

I just noticed in all my post, I'm wearing something by Free People. I should go get a job there so I can get a discount and save myself some money. I go to the store once every couple of months, but every time I go in there all the sales people recognize me. It's really embarrassing!

My Rapture Dress -- Free People in size 0 (fits true)
Shoes from Nine West - size 5.5 (fits true)
Bag is by Elliot Lucca (from Nordstroms)

This is my easy breezy shopping outfit. hahah! I have been waiting for beautiful nice weather to wear these white jeans. I've had them for probably over 2 years and the last time I wore it was July of 2009...haha I remember this because I was staying at the Mondrian in LA and the decor in the room was white and I remember thinking, wow I match the room.

These jeans are in size 25 and I remember trying them on and thinking, wow I must have gained weight. I'm normally a 23 or 24, but I had to size up on these.

We The Free Scoop Neck Tunic -- by Free People size XS -- this shirt is so light weight and comfortable. I bought this awhile ago and now it comes in 8 different colors!

Skinny Jeans by Blank -- Size 25 -- can purchase at Free People or Urban Outfitters
I found almost an identical pair at ShopBop...mine doesn't have the zipper on the bottom, other than that everything else is the same (even the studs on the butt). Can't believe they're still selling the same style after all this time.

Shoes are Steve Madden -- size 6

Bag is Lamb by Gwen Stefani -- I like this bag, but the leather and the hardware makes it super heavy so after 20 mins of carrying this it hurts my I make my bf carry it instead. lol

Fluffy Hair

I wasn't going to post this one, but a little someone gave me the nudge nudge...haha!

Serena -- this one was inspired by you. When Sophia and I saw your hair, we were like "we want that and exactly that!" haha. As Sophia had the balls to dye her hair, I still haven't as you see in the pic. I got the 2" monster curling iron instead and I love it. It gives my long boring straight dull hair so much life. hahha. Many thanks Serena for my much improved hair. :)

Not much to say about this boring outfit:

-ruffle shirt from jcrew XS
-knit pant leggings from guess in size 23 (fits awesome)
-shoes by Arturo Chiang (size 5.5) from Bloomingdales

Polka Dots

It's raining today but, I'm always prepared. I always carry an umbrella and wear boots so my feet doesn't get wet. I hate the feeling of wet socks and wet shoes all day. I'm wearing an old black cardigan from forever21. I've had this for years. Very surprise that its holding up after many washes.

Marrakesh Dress is from free people in size xs. The dress comes in another pattern. It fits a little lose, but it doesn't bother me much. The material is really light weight and soft. I can sleep in this thing.

Boots are by costume national and I will wear these to death! I got them in a size 6 (because that was the smallest size)...put insoles in them, but they are huge. I wear really thick socks to make it less roomy. The leather is super nice and soft.

Casual Work Outfit

Hey Ladies,

Thanks for all the nice w
elcomes and a special thanks to Sophia for introducing me to all the bloggers :)

I want to share with you girlies another brand that fits really well. Guess size 23 pants are amazin
g...maybe a little long but the fit everywhere else is great!

From top to bottom:

Fendi Shades from Nordstroms: $225 -- personally I think Fendi sunglasses fit really well on Asian faces.

Tank from Banana Republic: XS Petite - I have a few blacks and whites. They are so comfy. I wear it under everything! They have new colors like Mediterranean sea and Urban gray...hmmm should i get those too??

Cardigan is from Free People: my favorite because their stuff is so unique and seems like they just put a little more love to their clothes. I got it in size xs and it fits fine. I just checked the site and its on sale for $29.95.

Purse is See by Chloe -- I got it on sale at
Aritzia. It's kind of old, but I don't think anywhere sells it anymore. The leather is great, but the button broke. I had to replace it. Unbelievable! Anyway, I also wanted to mentioned Aritzia is also a very petite friendly store -- not sure if they are everywhere. They have sizes xxs and if they don't have it in the stores, they will order for you free of charge. Pretty good...

Pants are from Guess: size 23. I wished I'd have gotten 2 pairs. I wear them so much they are getting fuzzies. The link is to something similar.

Shoes are by
coach. They're size 5.5 and still big. I put a insole in it and it helps a little.

Versatile Boots

Obsessed with these boots!

I ordered these Via Spiga boots from Nordstroms...was almost hesitant in getting them because they looked so plain and were kind of expensive.

They were surprisingly comfortable. I wore them walking around and also wore them dancing. I'm a 5.5 and they were true to size.

Gray Hoodie is from Free People (it's old so they don't have it anymore.

Shirt is from Free people (XS/S) in alabaster color.

Denim Legging is from Aritzia. J Brand and size 24.

Bag is MICHAEL Michael Kors Glazed Python-Embossed Leather Item Tote. I love them with everything. I wear to work and on the weekends and have gotten tons of complements on it. Not bad for $198 and it doesn't feel or look cheap!

I wore the boots again with my Free People Dress. I got it at the store, but it doesn't seem like they have it on the website anymore. I love Free People btw. Their sizing is small, great for petites and so easy to wear. This dress is a size 0.

Bag is by botkier and I got it years ago. I never wear it, but decided to wear it today.
