Bebe Skinny Pant 00 Review and Make-Up Tips

Wearing:
H&M (Divided) Blouse. Size 2. (similar here & here)
Necklace from BP (Nordstrom). Recent purchase.
Dooney and Bourke Clutch. (very similar here)
Vince Camuto Amber Peep-Toe Bootie. Size 5.5. (the close-toed version here)

Bebe Stretch Skinny Pant. Size 00. $109. I got this 20% off original price during black Friday.
Description from bebe.com
Whisper ribbing gives this skinny pant texture, and flat front and back slip pockets keep it sleek. Beltable loops. Front seam stitching accents.
Rise: 8". Inseam: 29". Leg opening: 10".
Viscose, nylon, spandex.
Dry clean.

For reference: my waist is 23" & my hips are 34"

I love everything about these pants. They are nicely fitted throughout the legs and are so comfortable to wear. The only con is that the waist is a little big, but can be easily fixed with a belt. These pants can accommodate someone with a 24" waist comfortably. I measured the inseam and they are 29" long. The length is perfect for my short legs and I also like that there is a little scrunch on the bottom.

If you're not interested in makeup, you can skip this portion below.

For reference: I have oily skin.

Wearing on face:
Bobbi Brown Corrector $22.00. Color light bisque. Used as a concealer under the eyes.
Bobbi Brown Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation. $45.00. Color Warm Beige #3.5.
Bobbi Brown Beach Shimmer Brick $38.00. used as a highlighter. applied generously all over cheeks and cheek bone area. you can also used the shimmer brick as eye shadows.
Bobbi Brown Blush $22.00. Color slopes. applied on apples of the cheeks.

On Eyes:
Bobbi Brown Bone Shadow. $20.00. Color bone. Used as a base for all over the eyes.
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow $20.00. Color shell. Used to highlight the brow bone.
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow $20.00. Color fawn. Used in the crease area.
Bobbi Brown Eye Shadow $20.00. Color espresso. Used in the lower life area. If you have large eyelids, used a softer color or else it'll end up looking too harsh/dramatic.
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner $21.00. Wearing color black. For a softer look, try the espresso color instead.

Filling in the brows:
For those of you who have black hair, I'd avoid anything that is dark grey or black in the brow area...unless you like a very STRONG brow look.
I like a softer brow and a stronger arch so I use 2 colors. I can definitely get away with using either one of these 2 colors below.
Mac Eye Shadow. $19.50. Color espresso. used to fill in entire brow area.
Mac Eye Shadow. $19.50. Color brun. Used from the arch to the tip of the brow to give more definition.
If you're thinking using either these colors, brun (is a darker color than espresso) is probably better for someone with dark brown/black hair.

I am also wearing some random Asian brand falsies and a clear lip gloss.

If you have questions, please feel free to ask.

Sparkles and Lace

I been super busy with work and it's been really crazy and stressful so that is why there hasn't been too many posts lately. I'm so tired after work, the last thing I want to do is pose for photos.

A couple of you know that I also got my car towed this week. I was too lazy to park my car and walk half a block to the coffee shop. I parked my car in the yellow zone to grab coffee and I have been doing it for awhile. It took probably a few minutes for me to grab coffee and when I came out, my freaking car was gone. Ahhh!! I knew they towed my car. After all the fees & ticket, I am in debt to the city by$460!!! Highway robbery right?! So if you ever decide to drive in crazy SF this holiday season, please do not park illegally especially in the downtown/financial area. And if you're wondering is my coffee $460 good, the answer is no...haha! I guess no shopping for me for awhile too.

This is another date night outfit. I'm a little more bundle up than usual because it's raining like crazy and super cold outside.

Wearing:
Free People Lace Dress. Size XS. (if your size is gone, you can get it here & here)
Banana Republic Beaded Trim Wrap. Quite pricey, but this wrap is so soft! (similar here & here)
J Crew Jeweled Headband. (similar here & here)
Banana Republic Necklace.
Coach Grey Kidsuede Pumps. Size 5.5 (similar here & here)
Forever21 Bracelet. (similar here & here)

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Thanks for reading!! ;)

A Few Outfits

Some of my weekend outfits...

Wearing:
Free People Kapowski Tunic. Size XS. I intended to wear this as a dress, but it was definitely too short. Even my bf said no and he likes everything short. LoL.
J Brand 901 Jeggings. Color Sable. Size 24. Love these! They are so comfy to wear.
Aldo Feather Earrings. (similar here & here)
Coach Kid Suede Pumps. Size 5.5. (similar here & here)

This is my date night outfit. We went to a new restaurant called Prospect in SF (prospectsf.com). It was booked weeks in advance and I had high hopes. It ended being just okay. Sometimes I just don't get all the hype. There's definitely better out there.
Wearing:
Free People Lace Mock Neck Top. Size XS. Omg I love this top. When I bought it I didn't think I was going to wear it this much. I have worn it here, here and probably somewhere else that I can't remember.
BCBGeneration Skirt. Size 0. Very old.
Via Spiga Boots. Size 5.5. (similar here & here)
I ordered another pair on 6pm.com in the same style and in leather. The calves area ended being so big. So weird! I'm going to stop ordering shoes online because it never works out for me.

This outfit was from last weekend when it was chillier. The weather nice has been so nice! It's going to be 75 degrees today. Love it!
Wearing:
Free People Shawl Oversize Cardi. XS. I like how I can throw this over anything and it's so warm and cozy!
Urban Outfitter Lace Top. XS. Very Old. (similar here & here)

Thanks for reading and hope everyone is having lovely Monday!! :)

Free People Reviews: Tunic, Ruffle Cardigan, Lace Dress & Thermal

Bloomingdale is having their friend and family this week! I totally took full advantage and stocked up on my Free People. It is 20% off almost everything in the store - use promo code "GIFT".

Free People Kapowski Tunic $78.00. (with discount: $62) Size XS.
I think this top is so cute. I love everything about it, from the sweet heart neckline, the cut-out in the back, the print and the way it hugs my body. The material is really soft. It's fitted, but does not feel tight or uncomfortable. On the model, it definitely looks more like a top than a dress. I'm much shorter than they are so I can see myself wearing this as a short dress!
Purchased!

Free People Eyelet Ruffle Cardigan $128.00. (with discount: $102). Size XS.
My boyfriend really like this one and wanted me to get it, but he likes everything. He is such an enabler.
I think the idea of the eye ruffle is what drew me to the cardigan. I also like the cute little buttons too. In terms of fit I think it is just okay. It's a little shapeless and just hangs there. I passed on this one.

Free People "Medallion" Lace Dress $118.00. (with discount: $94). Size 0. Also available in cream and deep plum.
I look a little goth with the boots and leggings...please ignore it...heehee.
Anyway, I am so glad I bought this because it is not sold out in my size and in this color on the FP site!
I have been eyeing this for awhile and am so glad I finally got it. I really like this dress because its so girlie and romantic looking. There is also the cute tulle detailing on the bottom, I'm not sure if you can see it. This is definitely a very easy dress to wear and I can't wait to wear it to date night this weekend.
Purchased!

Free People Lace Trim Thermal $48. (with discount: $38). Size XS.
I wanted a cute thermal for the weekend because it's getting pretty chilly here. I really like the lace neckline. The material is pretty substantial and it's also really soft. I saw this online and the model makes it look so cute! I don't have the boobies to fill out the top like the model does and I'm not sure if I love it. I also wasn't crazy about the color selection they had in the store. Grey and charcoal-- pretty boring! I'm kind of on the fence about this. Nordstrom has the same thermal and it's on sale for $31.90. I like the color available which is a sky blue and in my size...not sure if I should get it. What do you think?

Did anyone else take advantage of the F&F? Please share your finds and goodies!

H&M Basics: Sweater, Skirt & Cardigan

Wearing:
H&M Cowl Neck Sweater: Size XS. $24.95. (similar in other colors here & here)
I really like the color of this sweater and how soft it is. The sweater is more on the non-fitted side. The material is pretty sheer and I am wearing another shirt underneath.

True Religion Jeans. Size 24. (very similar here & here). These were shortened a couple of inches and I kept the original hem.

Coach Finley Kidsuede Pumps. Size 5.5. (similar here & here)

Bebe Coat. Size XS.

Wearing:

H&M Pencil Skirt. Size 2. $24.95. (similar here & here)
This skirt fits awesome and is also lined. I find this to be more fitted in the waist and shorter in length than the H&M lace skirt and khaki skirt that I have tried on before. I wanted to purchase the grey color in the same style, but there was no more size 2 left.

Armani Exchange Blouse. Size XS.

BCBGirl Pumps. Size 5.5. (similar here & here)

Wearing:

H&M Cardigan. XS. (similarish here)
Fita pretty true to size. I love the little bow detail and the contrasting black seams.

Free People Lace Mock Neck Top. Size XS.

Franco Sarto Lady Boots. (on sale right now!) Size 5.5. Also worn here. Even though the heels are on the taller side, I find these boots to be pretty comfy. I wore them all day today and my feet feel fine. See Jean from ExtraPetite.com try them here.

Also friends and family starts tomorrow at Bloomingdales!
Of course I took advantage and stocked up on my FP stuff.
