I look cold in these pics! It was chilly and windy outside. On a brighter note (besides my yellow cami), my bangs are growing out! I'm gonna chop off my stylist's hands if she dares to go near them. LOL!

Maxi with Tory Burch Aurelia Wedge

The weather is heating up in SF! Woohoo!
Here I am wearing a maxi skirt as a maxi dress. I was running out of the apartment and was too lazy to pair it with a top so I just pulled it up and made it into a dress. I am all about versatile and easy to wear!

Nordstrom Lily White Maxi Skirt (Juniors). Size XS. Fits great as a skirt too and it's not too long either. (similar here & here)

Tory Burch 'Aurelia' Wedge. Size 5. I wear a size 5.5 normally, but I had to size down because these run 1/2 size too big. I noticed that Tory Burch shoes tend to run 1/2 too big. I have the 'Sally 2' wedges too and made the mistake of buying a size 5.5 thinking they run true to size. They slip out of my feet every time I walk.

Casual Date Night

It's been forever since me and my bf went on a date night. I normally cancel on him when he does plan date night because I'm to lazy to get ready. I also hate the fact that that most popular restaurants require a reservation which means I have to be there at certain time. I always prefer cheap Asian food like pho, shabu or ramen which is casual and doesn't require reservations. I can be there whenever I feel like eating, wear my comfy clothes and not worry about even putting on makeup! It's sweet that my bf tries and I should try as well into putting more effort into making date night.

Does anyone else do night date and how do you feel about it?

The food was delicious overall. I thought the food was a little expensive and the portions were kind of small. I probably wouldn't ask to return here again because there are other plenty of good cheap eats in SF.

Hanging out in Boston with Fellow Petite Blogger

Shopping at American Apparel...


This AA mid-length circle skirt (size XS) has potentials, but something is a little off. Maybe if it sat a little higher in the waist? I also thought it made my hips look big. I do love the color though.

Our pre-dinner snack: drinks and oysters.
We are at the Legal Seafood restaurant and in front of us are oysters. I was so nervous about eating them because I have never had it before. I slurped the first one down without even chewing! To my surprise, it was actually really good. I'd definitely eat them again. I wonder what it would taste like with A1 sauce....hmmm.

This was the first time for the both of us at the famous Neptune Oyster Bar. Our dinner included hamachi ceviche (not shown), lobster roll dipped in butter with fries, a paella inspired dish and more drinks of course! This meal definitely put us over the top! I was about to explode and Jean couldn't even see straight when we were done. Haha!

Victoria Secret Bikini Order with Updated Pictures

I'm thought I'd update this post in case anyone was curious above the fit of the following Victoria Secret bikinis. Overall I found that the tops run slightly large (maybe by half size) and the bottoms to runs true to size.

VS Daisy Push Up Triangle Top. (Wearing above) Size XS. Color Neon Coral/Lavendar Zebra. I love that this top is nicely padded and the color is so vibrant (looks the same in person as it does in the pic). My complaint is that triangles are too far apart for me. I'm might have my mom shorten the band between the cups and then reattach the bow (I did indeed have this done!).

I got the Beach Sexy Low Rise matching bottom (wearing above). Size XS and it fits great.

Beach Sexy® Jeweled Bandeau Top. (Wearing Above) Size XS. I wear a 32B in VS bras and this is almost too wide for me. The halter straps are detachable.

VS Beach Sexy® Low-rise Bottom. (Wearing Above) Size XS. Waist fits great. Coverage for the back is more on the minimal than moderate side --love that!

VS Beach Sexy Sparkle Bandeau and String Bikini. Size XS. I am loving the bottom. The back is so cute and ruching makes your bum look great!Unfortunately I hate the top. It's fits like a saggy diaper. I'm returning that and am hoping the other tops I got will match this bottom. I think this top (in blush color) would be super cute with that bottom above, but unfortunately it is not available until 6/4! I need it before then.

VS Colin Stuart® Double-strap Flip-flop. Size 6. Colors back and gold. Unfortunately the fun colors are not available until 5/29, so I ordered what they had left. I actually have had these before and they are pretty sturdy and comfy. I normally wear a size 5.5 and the size 5 was a bit too small for me.

Since I'm kinda unhappy with the last 2 tops, I decided to place another order for more tops. I haven't gotten these yet so not sure what the fit is like. Since the tops are trending big, I decided to size down on these.

VS Forever Sexy Push-Up Bandeau Top. (Wearing above) Leopard Print. Size 32A. I got it because of the push up padding and the hidden under wire cups.

VS Very Sexy Triangle Top. Size 32A. Leopard Print. This one has a center twist detail, molded push-up padding, underwire cups and also ties at neck. I wanted to compared how this and the above.
*Updated - I ended up returning this. It was too much push up and looked like a push up bra.

And while I'm at it, I thought I might as well give this one a try too.

The Miracle Bra® Retro Push-up Triangle Top. Size 32A. Strawberry Leopard. *Update - I ended returning this job too. The padding was overwhelming and just way over the top.
