Sherbet Colors

T.Babaton Elliot Pant in Super Stretch Cotton. Size 00. Inseam is 24". These pants are from Aritizia and are on sale for $65. I love the color and the fit. The waist and length are perfect on me which is very hard to come by! They also come in a few other colors. They remind me of the J. Crew Minnie pant in stretch twill that I bought awhile ago. Hopefully these don't stretch out like the Minnie's.

Business Casual and $12 H&M Pants

Tonight I am watching the Olympics, eating ice cream and mulling over the Forever21 items below. Yes, life is hard...

Wearing:

BR Textured Blazer. 00P. Purchased in store a couple of months ago for about $40. I also had the sides slimmed and sleeves shortened (I forgot to take before pics).

H&M Bottom. Size 2. $12.95. Waist fits great! Inseam is about 30". The pants are a couple of inches too long for me so I need to get it shortened.

Leopard Pumps

I feel like I have been purchasing a good amount of very basic pumps for work lately-- either nude or black. I am ready for something fun (but still work appropriate) to add to my wardrobe. I was browsing through Macy's website and found these really cute leopard pumps.

Macy's Anne Klein Zya Pumps

I am really drawn to the d'Orsay style and the pointed toes. The stacked heels also make the pumps look more casual and not so strictly business which is great because I can wear it during the weekend with something more casual too. There are currently no reviews on these Ann Klein pumps so I'm hesitant to purchase. I have never owned a pair of Ann Klein pumps either so I'm not sure if they are comfortable. Maybe I can stop by a local Macy's to try them on?

Macy's Jessica Simpson Jaide Pumps

My second choice are these Jessica Simpson Jaide Pumps. What I like about these pumps are the tan leather in contrast with the leopard print. The heels are about 4" and might be a little too high to be comfortable for work. I wished there was a tiny platform to offset the 4" heels. I showed these to my bf and he was quite bothered by the bow. I'm kind of on the fence about the bow. I like it, but it could be tacky and too girly in person.
I have owned couple of pairs of Jessica Simpson pumps and I have to say her shoes are surprisingly comfortable. My favorite strappy heels are actually made by her and I have worn them here, here, here and here. LOL. Yes, I have worn them a lot.

I might purchase both to try since shipping is free when your order exceeds $99.
What are your thoughts on these pumps? Do you prefer one over another?

Buttoned Back Blouson Top. Size S. Color Rust. I really love the color of this top! If I may say, I think it compliments my skin quite well. LOL. I also like (faux) back buttons too, which gives the back view a nice visual interest. The qualms with the top are that the sleeves are too long and the overall fit is very blouse-y. I'm think I might keep this top and get the sleeves shortened.

Peter Pan Collar Button Back. Size S. Although the fit is quite blouse-y, I'd have to say this is my favorite top of the bunch. I love the cute Peter Pan collar, the little black tie and button in my back. This is a definite keeper!

Collar Ditsy Dot Blouse. Size S. The concept of the shirt is very cute. Unfortunately, it is very boxy. I'd recommend this top in size small to someone who wears a medium. This a return for me.

Floral Lace Raglan Top. Size S. I have a soft spot for this top even though the fit is not perfect and is on the bigger side. I have already worn this top 2x. It's so comfortable, casual and easy to throw on. This lace front gives a nice girly spin to your regular tomboy sweatshirt. A another keeper!

Ann Taylor Refined Cropped Pants. Size 00P. I actually bought these pants a couple weeks ago to try on for size. I was too lazy to take pictures before returning, but the pants do fit pretty nicely. I thought it was a bit much at full price, but at $50.71 I think it's worth buying! The waist is a tad big, but there are adjustable side tabs to tighten the waist. See Jean try on the red version in size 0P.

Ann Taylor Black Patent Skinny Belt. Size XS. I actually need a skinny black belt so this was a great filler item to meet $100.

Burberry Quilted Jacket

I was at Nordstrom a few days ago and was checking out their anniversary sale items. I was there for a bit and ended up having a few drinks. Nothing really caught my eye so I decided to leave. As I was leaving, I walked through the kids department and a blazer caught my eyes. I decided to try it on, but it wasn't a good fit. A SA walked up to me and told me they have a kid's Burberry quilted jacket I might like and wanted to show it to me. I said okay fine, let's see it.

I tried it on and thought it was a decent fit. After a few drinks, my head was definitely not thinking straight. The SA and my bf convinced me how cute this jacket was. Somehow, someway, I ended up purchasing the jacket. *sigh*

Yes, I give into peer pressure easily.

Well I have mixed feelings about this jacket. It's kind of cute and is also kind of soccer mom-ish. I remember during college, I was out with a few friends at a night club. We were hanging out in the patio and I was getting cold. One of my friends offered her Burberry quilted jacket to me and I was thinking to myself, why are you wearing this. Hahaha!

I know a lot of people own similar Burberry quilted jackets and it looks great on them. I just don't think it's for me, therefore I will be returning.
