I feel like summer has just started and it's going to be in the 75-80s in the next few days! YAY! I love being able to wear short and a t-shirt and not worry about lugging a jacket around all day. I know it sounds silly to be excited about, but it's a definite luxury not to worry about being cold.

A|X Faux Fur Collar Wrap. XS. Love the soft faux fur & the material is pretty decent.
I got the heather grey color (looks darker in person) & there is another color called heather snow (which I think looks more like cream).

I also really like the Ruched cardigan! Too bad I didn't see it at the store or else I would have gotten it too.

They're doing a promo on sweaters where you take $20 off the original price and shipping is free for purchases over $100.
I have to say A|X stuff looks better in person than it does on their website. I think it's the opposite for most retailers.

Aritzia Dress at the Great Gatsby -- Part II

This is Villa Montalvo in Saratoga. It's a beautiful estate and a great venue for parties & weddings! It is one of the oldest landmark in the state was built by James Phelan (California's 1st Senator). Below is a picture of me and Aunt Sheila --she is related to James Phelan. :)

Someone gave me hat to wear, but I had to take it off because it was really hot & humid outside. I think the feather hair clip looks better and plus I'm not much of a hat person either. I would say a definite no with this outfit don't you think?

My bf's work threw a Great Gatsby theme party for their members at the estate of Villa Montalvo. I was able to attend with him and got a chance to capture some pretty scenic pics!

I had this dress for over a year and have never worn it because it's short, very fitted & the low back. I thought the long cardigan helped cover some of that up & made it less hoochie! LoL

It was my bf's b-day so I thought I'd take him to get some yummy steak!

We had a delicious 3 course meal and boy did we go home with food coma!

Friday night was date night! My bf took me to a fabulous restaurant called Skool. The food was delicious, the decor was pretty & the ambiance was perfect. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area.

I had this for years and only have worn it a handful of times. The material is really nice and thick and the inside is lined with a really soft material. What bothers me a little is that the sleeves aren't full length! It leave part of arms and hands cold!
I do LOVE LOVE the color. Camel is becoming my favorite fall color.

I initially wore the outfit with a belt. It kept slipping down my waist, it got really annoying so I decided to take it off! I really hate pulling and tugging on clothing parts!


Trying some photos in the dark...didn't turn out so well. I think I like day time pics a little bit better.



Hey my fellow blogerellas...if you live in close proximity to an Aritzia I'd definitely go check them out. A lot of their stuff comes in size XXS. If they don't carry a certain size that you're looking for they'd be more than happy to have it shipped from another store for free.

The weather has been nuts. It's been cold all week and it's 80 degrees today! Well now (night time), it's foggy & freezing again. I'm not complaining about the heat, but I wished it would be consistent because it's doing crazy things to my skin!

Face:
My skin has been really dry lately especially my cheeks.
Instead of wearing a powder blush, a cream blush will be a better option. It's more moisturizing and gives a nice dewy look. You can also wear cream blush on your lips too. It's kind of hard to tell from the picture :(
I'm wearing Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge on lips and cheeks. Color Powder Pink.
For application on cheeks, apply with a foundation brush.
