Review: Botkier 'Ava' Snake Embossed Metallic Leather Hobo

Images on Right Side from Nordstrom.com
I promised myself that I would wait two weeks before purchasing this bag. I was so excited I couldn't help myself but to go into store and check it out in person. Needless to say, I was dissappointed in everyway!
What I didn't like:
  • leather felt cheap and thin -- looked more like pleather
  • the color was so off from the stock photo!! it's more copper in person than silvery --very cheap looking
  • the bag in person doesn't drape like it does in the stock photo
  • the chain is shorter than I like it to be
  • not worth $645

Verdict: definite no buy!

I think someone had too much fun with the photoshop. The bag in person and the bag in the stock photos are so different. I'd think they're 2 completely different bags. When I asked the sales associate if this bag came in a silvery color, she said this is the only color it comes in!! Anyway, I came across this article this morning and thought it was pretty ironic!

Review on Miss Sixty Jordana Sandals

Outfit Details:
Free People Cropped Mesh Ruffle Knit Jacket $128.00$59.99. Size 0. (similar here & here from FP)

Bebe Button Up Top - Size XXS. (Similar
here, here & here from Bebe)

Gap
Always skinny destructed jeans (faded wash): $19.99. Size 00P. Worn before on previous post. I took off about 2 inches off the length. See before pics here.

Miss Sixty Jordana Sandals: Size 6. $159. 4.5" heel & 3/4" platform. I love the t- straps and the distressed leather look of these shoes. For how high the heels are, it is actually really comfortable because of the platform. I can definitely see myself walking in these for hours. Also these actually run pretty small. When I asked the sale associate if they had these shoes in a size 5.5, he said it's European size and it runs pretty small & brought me a 6. He probably said this because they didn't have size 5.5, but the size 6 ended up fitting great. haha! I can't say his statement is true for all Miss Sixty shoes because I have ordered Miss Sixty sandals in size 6 years ago and those ran pretty big. I worn them once and I still have them to this day and don't know why I didn't return them!! But as for these Jordana Sandals, I am definitely keeping them.

Lusting after Botkier Bag & Upcoming Reviews

I love this botkier bag!! So cute. I'm going to give myself a challenge. If I buy absolutely nothing in the next 2 weeks, then I will alow myself to purchase this.

Military Jacket

Outfit Details:

Free People Military Jacket - Size 0 - $138
Free People Rib & Lace Tank - Size XS - $38 (available here at shopbop too)
Free People Printed Cropped Bralette - Size XS - $38 (similar here)
Tom Ford Jennifer Sunglasses - $328
True Religion Joey Jeans (sorry couldn't find the same wash I'm wearing) Size 24 - $288 - I'd have preferred a smaller size, but this was all they had at the time. I also had about 2-3' taken off the length & kept the original hem. I have slept in these jeans before and they are uber comfy. True Religion's Web Store also offers petite sizes. I have never tried it before so I can't really say much about it.
