I LOVE MY: Banana Republic Coat & Free People Ruffle Tweed Jacket

Wearing:
Banana Republic Coat. XSP. I got this coat a few years ago and it's one of my favorite coats of all time. The coat is thick enough to keep me warm and it's nicely lined inside. I also like the length -- it's not too long or short.

BR has gone down hill for me ever since this...what happened BR?

I saw a replica at JCrew store and it is also available online.
JCrew Petite double-cloth Colletta coat. Comes in many color, the quality looks pretty decent & available in petite sizes.

BCBG Sweater Dress. XS. (similar here, here & here)

Wearing:
Free People Ruffle Tweed Jacket. Size 0. Available in 2 other colors. I love the shape of this jacket. I'm usually not a fan of tweed, but this totally won me over.
Bebe Jeggings. Size 24.
Coach Finley KidSuede Pump. See this post for details.

Camel Wool Peacoat

Friday night was date night! My bf took me to a fabulous restaurant called Skool. The food was delicious, the decor was pretty & the ambiance was perfect. I would definitely recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area.

Wearing:

Bebe Wool Peacoat. XS. (similar here & here)
I had this for years and only have worn it a handful of times. The material is really nice and thick and the inside is lined with a really soft material. What bothers me a little is that the sleeves aren't full length! It leave part of arms and hands cold!
I do LOVE LOVE the color. Camel is becoming my favorite fall color.

Forever21 Blouse. Size S. Also worn in this post. (similar here & here)

Forever21 Necklace. (similar here & here)

True Religion Jeans. Size 24. One size smaller would have been better. (similar here)

Michael by Michael Kors Pumps. Size 6. (similar here & here)

Speedy LV Bag.

Hope everyone's weekend is off to a good start too!

Ombre Highlights, J Brand 901 Legging Review & Other Stuff

See this post for an update on my ombre highlights.

It's been at least a good 5-7 years since I have colored my hair. It was definitely hard to let go of my virgin hair!! I haven't gotten my hair colored because I'm really lazy and I personally hate the up keep. I been seeing celebs rock this look and it's so cute on them. The ombre effect is with darker roots and lighter ends so there will be little up keep because I already have roots--haha! I'm totally loving this look!! YAY! I'm so happy that I finally did something with my freaking boring hair. :)

My ombre hair inspirations below:

What I'm wearing above:
Old Free People Sweater. XS. (similar here & here)
Free People Thermal Cami. XS. Love how soft & stretchy it is. I got the white color too.
J Brand 901 Leggings. Color Sable. 24. Fit is great. No alterations needed. A little gap in front & back, but don't mind it at all -- extra room is great for when I eat too much. They're expensive for jeggings-- can't believe I forked out that much $ for it. Note to self, don't go shopping while intoxicated. LoL.

@ Bloomingdale
Lusting after this Coach Hamptons Studded Leather Flap Bag
. $498. Must be really old or new -- can't seem to be finding it on the coach.com or anywhere else.

Wearing here:
Free People Ruffle Tweed Jacket. XS. Available in 2 other colors.
*correction -- i mean size 0 not xs

That's it for now. Can't wait to see everyone's shopping finds this weekend!

Bebe 00 Suit Jacket

Thank you fellow neighbors for not calling the cops on me. :)

Wearing:

Bebe Suit Jacket. 00. (similar here & here). Fits great, no complaints. I have the matching skirt & the waist is loose. Just an FYI -- bebe has very inconsistent sizes. I have 00P pants that run large and I have size 0 pants that fit snug everywhere, but waist is loose and length is too long. I also tried on a pair of shorts in 00P recently and I swear I was swimming in them!

Free People White Wedding Top. XS. $88 (similar here, here & here)

Free People Women's Lace Bandeau in Black $28.00 - XS. (similar here & here)

Guess Black Knit Skinny Pants. Size 23. (similar & petite friendly ==> here, here, & here)

Reveiw: JCREW Petite Coat & Cheaper Guess Alternative

JCREW Stadium-Cloth Sacha Peacoat: Size 0P. $258.

What I like:
  • -Pretty color
  • Jacket is lined
What I dislike:
  • The material is thin & feels cheap
  • Sleeves are a bit too long
  • The length of the jacket is tad short for my liking
  • Overall fit is too boxy
  • Not worth $258!

Verdict: RETURN

Below is a jacket that is similar that I got last winter.
By Guess. Size XS. Around $150. (similar: here, here, here & here)
The material feels more expensive, the jacket is lined, the fit is better & it is so much cheaper!!
