Aritzia Sweater XXS

Unbelted

I initially wore the outfit with a belt. It kept slipping down my waist, it got really annoying so I decided to take it off! I really hate pulling and tugging on clothing parts!

Trying some photos in the dark...didn't turn out so well. I think I like day time pics a little bit better.

Hey my fellow blogerellas...if you live in close proximity to an Aritzia I'd definitely go check them out. A lot of their stuff comes in size XXS. If they don't carry a certain size that you're looking for they'd be more than happy to have it shipped from another store for free.

Wearing:
Aritzia Sweater. XXS. You can refer back to this post if you're interested in price & item #. (similar here, here & here)

American Apparel Shorts , Free People Top & Aritzia Finds!

The weather has been nuts. It's been cold all week and it's 80 degrees today! Well now (night time), it's foggy & freezing again. I'm not complaining about the heat, but I wished it would be consistent because it's doing crazy things to my skin!
I

Wearing:

American Apparel Stretch Twill High-Waist Zipper
Shorts. Size 24/25. Available in 7 different colors. (similar here & here)
Free People Green Bat Wing Top. Size XS.
Steve Madden Black Kitten Heels. Size 6. (similar here & here)
See by Chloe Purse.

Face:
My skin has been really dry lately especially my cheeks.
Instead of wearing a powder blush, a cream blush will be a better option. It's more moisturizing and gives a nice dewy look. You can also wear cream blush on your lips too. It's kind of hard to tell from the picture :(
I'm wearing Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge on lips and cheeks. Color Powder Pink.
For application on cheeks, apply with a foundation brush.

Below are also my finds from Aritzia today.
Loving their fall selection! Sorry I was too lazy to model it. Here are pictures below and you can click on it to zoom.

My favorite go to...

Self Shot Pics.
I took some tylenol nyquil thing last night -- man did it knock me out. Took 15 mins to get ready and rushed to work! This is my favorite go to when I'm in a hurry: cardi & skinny pants. No need to think or look in the mirror and I'm ready to go!

I'm a Tourist/Hypocrite

I've been shopping so much the last couple of weeks, I kind of lost track of what I've even ordered and where its being shipped to. These Cole Hann Sandals are evidence of my bad shopping habits. I had these for probably over 2 years and forgot that I even own them. Sophia (
Kechiko) and I chat all the time and she showed me something similar to these recently and asked if I like them. I was said ...ehhh. Hahah I'm such a hypocrite.

It was so nice in SF this weekend I decided not to shop and enjoy the outdoors. All of these place are less than 1/2 mile away from my apartment. I got off my lazy butt and decided to go sight seeing with the tourists.

Outfit Details:

Rows of Ruffles Dresses from Free People for $68. Size XS. This is a good layering piece, I don't recommend wearing this by itself. As you can tell in the picture, it's pretty short. It has a nice loose fit which is great for this hot weekend. When it comes to ruffles, layers of it can give the illusion of extra bulk and this dress does not seem to do that.

Cole Hann Sandals. Size 6. I'm normally a size 5.5, but the ankle straps are adjustable so I don't mind the shoe fit being a tiny bit bigger. Here is something similar from Cole Hann - Thong Sandals- and its on sale for $89.

Cardigan From Express. For details, check out this May 31st post.
Michael by Michael Kors Bag. For details, check out May 23rd post.

Buy Multiple Basics

Black Cardigan (XS)
Long cardigans are great to drape over a short dress or used as a light jacket. I got the cardigans in ivory and black from Express and was surprised that it fit. I've gotten other things from Express and they always ended up being too big.

I also have been wanting a pair of oxford shoes, but didn't want to spend a load of money on something that is so trendy. Oxford are versatile, you can wear them with skinny pants, leggings, shorts, dresses and skirts. I've been on the hunt for something that isn't totally flat or more than 3 -4". Can't believe its taken me this long. I seen a number of oxford, but the majority have been without heels or with super high heels and I wanted neither. Flats look bad on me because it makes my short legs look short. These are the perfect height - about 2.5". They're casual enough to pair with anything and can also be dressed up (like here) with a tunic and stockings.

Kitty Cat Earrings By Betsey Johnson $18

Cardigan from Express $49.90 (XS) in black. The ivory color below is in XXS. The fitting doesn't vary that much except the XXS is a bit shorter. The material is really nice and soft and the buttons are sparkly...great buy.

Rope Stretch Waist Belt from Free People: $34 and comes in the color black also

Cheetah Sweater Tunic from Forever21: Size Small (a bit loose) and it comes with its own black belt. It's on sale right now for $8.99!!

Jason Oxford from Baker Shoes: $59.95 and in size 5.5 (fit true). I think it's pretty comfortable. I only wore it for a couple of hours, so I can't promise anything.

Ivory Cardigan (XXS)

Top is by Wilfred from Aritzia in XS - original price is $40 and I got it for $32. The entire store is on sale right now. I think the sale ends in 2 days. When you go into the store, ask the rep for the list of things on sale. All the brand are broken down by categories of 20%, 30% or 40% off.

Cardigan from Express $49.90

Skinny Leggings from BEBE size 24

Tory Burch "Sally 2" Peeptoe Wedges . I got mine at Bloomindgales for $265-- I got these in size 5.5 and they are pretty true to size. The leather is really nice and looks expensive. I love her logo and all her shoes are so classic. I always get tons of compliments when I wear her them. <3>

Casual Work Outfit

Hey Ladies,

Thanks for all the nice w
elcomes and a special thanks to Sophia for introducing me to all the bloggers :)

I want to share with you girlies another brand that fits really well. Guess size 23 pants are amazin
g...maybe a little long but the fit everywhere else is great!

From top to bottom:

Fendi Shades from Nordstroms: $225 -- personally I think Fendi sunglasses fit really well on Asian faces.

Tank from Banana Republic: XS Petite - I have a few blacks and whites. They are so comfy. I wear it under everything! They have new colors like Mediterranean sea and Urban gray...hmmm should i get those too??

Cardigan is from Free People: my favorite because their stuff is so unique and seems like they just put a little more love to their clothes. I got it in size xs and it fits fine. I just checked the site and its on sale for $29.95.

Purse is See by Chloe -- I got it on sale at
Aritzia. It's kind of old, but I don't think anywhere sells it anymore. The leather is great, but the button broke. I had to replace it. Unbelievable! Anyway, I also wanted to mentioned Aritzia is also a very petite friendly store -- not sure if they are everywhere. They have sizes xxs and if they don't have it in the stores, they will order for you free of charge. Pretty good...

Pants are from Guess: size 23. I wished I'd have gotten 2 pairs. I wear them so much they are getting fuzzies. The link is to something similar.

Shoes are by
coach. They're size 5.5 and still big. I put a insole in it and it helps a little.

Versatile Boots

Obsessed with these boots!

I ordered these Via Spiga boots from Nordstroms...was almost hesitant in getting them because they looked so plain and were kind of expensive.

They were surprisingly comfortable. I wore them walking around and also wore them dancing. I'm a 5.5 and they were true to size.

Gray Hoodie is from Free People (it's old so they don't have it anymore.

Shirt is from Free people (XS/S) in alabaster color.

Denim Legging is from Aritzia. J Brand and size 24.

Bag is MICHAEL Michael Kors Glazed Python-Embossed Leather Item Tote. I love them with everything. I wear to work and on the weekends and have gotten tons of complements on it. Not bad for $198 and it doesn't feel or look cheap!

I wore the boots again with my Free People Dress. I got it at the store, but it doesn't seem like they have it on the website anymore. I love Free People btw. Their sizing is small, great for petites and so easy to wear. This dress is a size 0.

Bag is by botkier and I got it years ago. I never wear it, but decided to wear it today.
