Seafoam

Hello ladies and happy Monday! I am exhausted from a busy (but fun!) weekend, so I'm going to keep this post short and sweet. My bf and I drove up to LA to attend a good friend's wedding. It was indeed a very sweet and beautiful wedding filled with lots of love and I'm so happy to be a part of the celebration. I'll refrain from posting photos, just in case the bride/groom would prefer not to be on my blog. I also had the pleasure of meeting a long time reader and friend, Aubreyodang. We've chatted online for a couple of years so it was so nice to finally meet her in person! I also stopped by LA's Fashion District for some fabric shopping. The selection was SO overwhelming and the pricing was more expensive than I've expected (but I'm cheap) so I ended up not buying that much.
Anyway...below is what I wore to the wedding!
DIY Dress. (a similar work appropriate version here by Kate Spade)
Bib Necklace. (similar here & here)
Juicy Couture Pearl Dangle Earrings. (similar here & here)
AT Nude Pumps. (similar here)

  4. Way to go, Ping! It's one thing to wear your own creation out and about, but to a dressy event like a wedding? Bravo. You look gorgeous!

For some reason I thought you and Aubs were long-time in-real-life friends. I second Michelle, pics please!

  5. The seafoam color looks lovely on you! Aw, sorry you didn't find much fabric. I didn't get to explore much but thought I spied some $1.99/yard stores down the street from Michael Levine.

    1. Thanks, S! I was in a hurry, but I looked at a couple of $1.99/yard stores and the selection was just okay. I did get a couple pieces of fabric with embroidery from a store called journal fabrics!
