Classiques Entier Flats & Burberry Rainboots

Hi everyone! I hope you guys had a nice weekend. Seems like it went by super quick, I would love an extra day to doing nothing. Anyway, I'm not doing much for Halloween this year. I'm kind of over it so I thought I'd give it a break. Now to the outfits...

Sunny Day Outfit

Wearing:

Free People Ruffle Jacket. Size 0. Also available in grey. I got this awhile ago and it's available now on 6pm.com at a discounted price and there are sizes left!

J Brand Leggings. Size 24. Color Sable.

Classiques Entier® 'Eclipse' Flat $119.95 - Nordstrom. Size 5. (Available in size 4!) Calf hair upper/leather lining and sole.
I love these because of the pointed toes, the animal print and the cute bow! These definitely run pretty big! I'm normally a size 5.5 and I had to get these in a 5. I still have a tiny bit of room too. I normally don't like to buy flats because I'm so short. These were so adorable I couldn't pass up. I wore them for a good 4-5 hours today walking around the city. They got kind of uncomfortable towards the end. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not used to flats (because I wear heels all the time) or if its because of the shoes itself. Either way, I really like it and am planning to break them in even more.

Raining Day Outfit

Fall Remembrance Coat $198.00 - Free People. Size 0.
I posted this last week and just wanted to give you guys an update. I have worn this jacket almost everyday of this week because it's so warm and it goes with everything. Can't get enough of it!! My only complaint are the buttons. They are sewn on pretty loosely so I had to re-enforced every one of them. I don't want them to fall them because the jacket wouldn't look the same without it!

Free People Lace Mock Neck Top. $58. Size XS.

Haymarket Check Wellington Boots $225.00 - Burberry. Size 36. (similar here & here)
I hope the link I've provided leads to the correct boots, if not please let me know. I got these a few years back and never really wear them. I don't own another pair of rain boots so there's no other point of comparison. These are okay to wear for a 2-3 hours, but anything beyond that is kind of uncomfortable. The boots are made out of plastic entirely, so they are pretty heavy and clunky. If you own these or other brand of rain boots, please feel free to share your experience.
I'm also really eyeing these Kate Spade rain boots in the ivory color -- I love the cute little bow!

H&M Blouse - Worn 2 Ways

Hey Ladies- I just wanted to do a quick post on this H&M blouse I bought last week. I been wearing it a lot and also love how versatile it is. The blouse is super soft, silky and light weight. The length is also long enough to tuck in and it doesn't get balloon-y on the bottom when tucked in. It's a little expensive for H&M, but I think it's relatively cheaper compared to other retailers. I am also wearing a nude cami underneath because the blouse is kind of sheer.

Dinner Outfit:

Free People: Oversize Shawl Cardi, Lace Mock Neck Top & Fall Remembrance Coat

I stopped by the Free People Boutique a few weeks ago and I came out empty handed. This time was a different story. I actually didn't try on that much stuff, but I bought almost everything I tried on.
I'm also sad my favorite personal shopper, Jenna, at FP is no longer working there. I asked another sales girl about her and she said...ohhh you're Ping! You're Jenna's favorite client and she told everyone about you and your blog. LoL. Jenna -- if you're reading this, I'm going to miss you and your cute little doggie!!

My Shopping Outfit:
Zara BF Cardigan. Size S. (similar here & here)
H&M Dress. Size 2. Very old. (similar here)
Forever21 Necklace. (similar here & here)
Forever21 Over the Knee Socks. Got lots of looks/stares from both men & women. Whatever... (similar here & here)
Via Spiga Shanti Boots. Size 5.5. I got these awhile back and they are on sale now for $99 (original price $298)! I just checked Nordies and all the small sizes are gone. I love these and would definitely consider getting another pair if another color was available...but it's not.

Okay, now to the fitting room reviews...

Lace Mock Neck Top $58.00 - Free People - Size XS. Bought the black one. This comes in many colors.
I tried the black and cream color and actually love both, but I didn't want to buy both just in case I end up not wearing it. My bf thought the cream looked too wedding dress-ish...haha whatever! I love the fit, its not too tight or too loose. I think this will make a great layering piece.

Oversized Shawl Cardi $148.00 - Free People - Size XS. Bought color ivory. Comes in a bluish combo color also.
I know a lot of petite prefer more structured and fitted tops, because oversize items can be overwhelming for their little bodies. But I love this oversize cardi, I think this will work if I wear anything fitted on the bottom! It's so warm, comfy & cozy! I can throw this over anything. Can't wait to wear it & snuggle up in it.

Fall Remembrance Coat $198.00 - Free People. Size 0.
My bf actually pointed out this one. Good job babe!! I didn't think much of it until I tried it on. I'm in love with this jacket. It's heavy enough to keep me warm and it'd definitely what I been looking for all season long. The sleeves are slim and not too long. The jacket is nicely fitted without being snug and I also love the length. My camera didn't pick up all the details, but the ruffle bottom is really cute. The jacket is also lined. I would definitely check out the stock photos to get a all the details of this jacket. I highly recommend this!

Btw, it's been raining hard all day here :(
I also forgot to turn on the flash so pics are kind of blurry.

H&M Little Black Leather Dress

I had date night with my bf at chaya (one of our favorite restaurants) and stopped by the Supperclub to celebrate my gf's bday. I have known her since middle school. We definitely go way back!! It was a coincidence that we both wore dresses from H&M! I actually tried on the same dress she was wearing. It looked okay on me and I think that pinky color totally washed me out and makes me look pasty. Since my gf is darker, I think she pulls it off very nicely.

Wearing:
H&M Dress. Size 2.
Below is the tag with bar codes in case you're interested in getting it.

Lazy Saturday

Hello Ladies! I hope you guys are enjoying the weekend so far. My bf and I are just having a lazy Saturday afternoon. We had a heat wave this week and now its back to cold SF days. The cold weather makes me so lazy, I feel like I need to go to hibernate and come back to life when 80 degree returns. After our morning errands we decided to go home, turn on the heater and watch sports (haha -- well my bf is!). I'm just catching up on everyone's blog.
Have a good one!

Quick Review: Paige Denim

Wearing:
Paige Roxbury Cropped Skinny Jeans. Size 24. Inseam 28".
Abercrombie Kids Blouse. Size M.
Coach Finley Kidsuede Pumps. Size 5.5. See this post for details.

I wore these Paige jeans this weekend and wanted to show you guys in case anyone was curious about Paige denim. They're pretty old and I got them from Gilt so I payed anywhere from $80-$100. I can't remember exactly. I think Paige jeans run pretty true to size. I have another pair of trouser jeans from Paige (Laurel Canyon) and they are pretty similar in fit.

The waist is a little big on me and gappy in the front and back , but I noticed most 24" pants are big in the waist for me. Therefore I can't really blame the retailer, I think I just have a funky body. I also really like the butt pocket. There are no annoying or obvious large design or logo on it. The butt pocket are a perfect size imo and helps give the illusion of a lifted bubble butt. The placement is also nice, sometimes when butt pockets are placed too low, I think it gives the saggy butt look. Butt pockets are important...well at least to me.

Paige denim full retail price runs from $150-$200. They're kind of pricey for jeans. I give them a 7.5 out of 10. They're not worth it in my opinion. I don't love it or hate it. I think they're just okay. Why do I have 2 pairs might you ask since I think they're just okay...because I like to spend money & I love retail therapy. LoL!

How do you guys feel about Paige Denim?

Weekend Wear: Free People Dress, American Apparel Bodysuit & A|X Dress

Sometimes you forget what is in your closet! I did a little digging and fell in love with some of the items all over again.

This is one of my favorite Free People dress. I got awhile ago and have forgotten about it. We parked next to this candy-like car when we got to the mall. Haha I had to snap a picture with it! The fluffy pink thing in the car looks like cotton candy. LOL. It also matches my dress, doesn't it?

Armani Exchange - Devore Velvet Dress. Size - P0. $130.
They are having a deal right now where you spend $150 and you take $50 off.
I initially thought it looked great on the hanger and I really like the velvety texture of the dress. I was attracted to the color since I don't have anything like it. Anyway, I thought the fit on me was just okay and the dress was a little shapeless. I wished it was more fitted from waist down. I decided to pass on this.

Wearing:
Free People Striped Cardigan. XS. (similar here, here & here)
American Apparel Shiny Bodysuit. XS. (similar here). I love bodysuits because they are so sexy!
Free People Mini Skirt. XS. (similar here, here & here)

Reviews: Ann Taylor Sale Tops and H&M Skirts

I have seen so many petite bloggers wear Ann Taylor, I finally decided to give it a try and take advantage of their sale!! Thank you petite bloggers for introducing me to this. I would have known about Ann Taylor! The store looks so sophisticated and I would never associate sophistication with me (lol!), so I never bothered to stop by. I also used Chloe's coupon codes to get 20% off the entire purchase! YAY!

THE DEAL: Take 20% off your entire purchase of $100+ code: 108026971
THE DEAL: Take 30% off one full-priced item code: 108026901

From Kelly At Alteration Needed: extra 40% off sale items (code: Extra40)

I love this shirt! It's so soft because it's made out of silk. I also really like the zipper detail on the back. I love this shirt so much, I'm wearing it today!! See image on the side panel.
There are shoulder pads! YUCK! I took it off right away.

Ann Taylor Petite Sleeveless Cowl Neck Top. $29.99. XXS (regular). Sophia also review it-- she looks very lovely in it!!!
I love this top and the draping cowl neck line. The top is so soft and I like that it's longer so it's easier to tuck into skirts.

Ann Taylor Pleated Trim Tank. $29.99. XXS (regular). PetiteXXS also reviewed this one in a couple of colors.
No more petite sizes available, so I got the regular one. Too big overall. Returning this one.
I do love the fabric and how soft and stretchy it is!

There were no more petite sizes, so I ordered a regular. It's too big all around. I'm returning this one!
------
Below are 2 skirts I got from H&M. I bought them without trying it on!
Size 2. $34.95.
I do love the pretty color and the material feels and looks expensive. The skirt is also nicely lined inside. The waist fits well-- not tight or loose. I think it looks a little boxy on me. There is too much material in the hip area and I don't like how it ballons out in the front and back. Returning this one.
See tag below for price and barcodes.

Size 2. $34.95.
This skirt also looked promising. I think it's a little too roomy for me in the hips. The length is also too long for my liking. I do love the lace a lot and the skirt is also nicely lined. I'm also returning this one.
See below for price and barcode details.
