The T Medallion

I normally try to buy things without logos, but I do love Tory Burch's T-logo medallion. Her clothing always gives a relaxed yet refined resort inspired feel. I can imagine being on vacation (somewhere by a beautiful beach) strolling around town sporting my Tory Burch goods. Hahah! Yes, I'm totally ready for summer & vacation and would love to sport her stuff along with it.
I do own a few pair of her shoes and I get compliments every time I wear them. One time I wore these pumps to a work conference in Texas and I had men (yes, straight) and women come up to me and tell me how cool they were. I also had a women chase me down the street and tell me she had to see the front of my shoes (no joke!). If I had to say so myself, those Tory Burch pumps are pretty revolutionary. Hahah, okay now I'm just being melodramatic! :P

Asos - 20% off Dresses!!

Hello Ladies! I just wanted to do a real quick post because Asos is doing a promo for their dresses.
The fine print: For 20% off dresses enter promo code LOVEDRESSES at checkout. Valid until midnight PST Thursday 9th February 2012. So hurry!

My sweet friend who reads my blog (because I make her! haha!) surprised me with this dress for my bday. I totally wasn't expecting it. This dress was on my wishlist on this post. She saw it and decided to get it for me. I think I'm going to make more wishlist going forward on my blog if it means getting more stuff I want. HAHAH!Wearing: ASOS PETITE Exclusive Body-Conscious Dress In Yokopop Print. Size Petite US1.
(same style dress in Tropical print & Squiggle print)
I love love love this dress. The print is so unique and I really like the way it fits really close to the body. I'm definitely wearing this to a date night! I do think the dress is a tad long on me. I like it where it falls on the model, just a tad below the knee. I'm going to shorten the dress about 2" to show more legs. I do have to warn you that the material is like a thin slinky t-shirt. But overall, I'm so glad my friend go this for me!! A million thanks to her!

Red Fluted Cap Sleeve Dress

To be honest, this dress photographs better than it looks in real life. When my bf saw it, he said it's too long and boring. I have to agree with him, but I do like the color and fit of the top. I was surprised at the small arm holes and that the bust area fits pretty perfect. Another negative are the ties around the waist. I wanted to take it off and use my own belt, but those ties are sewn into the dress (from what I can remember). I thought a thicker different color belt would be better to break up the dress a bit and make it more interesting. I'd also like the dress to be a couple of inches shorter so it will hit above the knees.

Ann Taylor Fluted Cap Sleeve Dress. Size 00P. I bought the dress with a 40% discount so it comes out to be about $58. I think it's still a little expensive for something that feels like a thick cotton dress. I might reconsider rebuying if it went down to $25ish. Haha! But considering they are selling out of sizes online, I really doubt AT will discount the dress that much more. So in the end and after not much consideration, I decided to return the dress.

AT Petite Graphic Print Skirt

I wasn't expecting to like this skirt as much as I do. It was a filler item I picked up because I needed to meet the free shipping amount. I love the print of the skirt because it's so different and unique. I don't have anything like it in my closet currently. I also like the length on me, but it might be too short for someone with longer legs. The issue with this skirt is the waist. I have it pinned back in these pictures or else it wouldn't hold up.
I paid about $46 for this skirt (not including tax). I think it's still a little pricey consider it was discounted 40% off of the original price of $76. Another negative is that the skirt is unlined.
Outfit Details:
AT Petite Graphic Print Skirt. Size 00P. Since the waist is too big, I'd need to take this to my tailor and get it taken in. I'm going to wait for a better sale to compensate for the tailoring cost. I'm sadly returning.
Forever21 Blouse. Super old, but still love it! (similar here & here)
Pressely Pumps by MICHAEL Michael Kors. Size 5.5. Runs true to size & comfy.
