H&M Ruched Print Skirt & Grey Cardigan

Wearing:

H&M Skirt - Size 2. $29.95.
This skirt runs smaller than any other skirts I have tried on at H&M. My thoughts: too short and fitted for work but not hoochie enough for the clubs. I wore it during the weekend and got lots of weird looks and also got a compliment from a random old lady (my bf commented that she was a lesbian and was trying to hit on me -- lol, so not true btw).

H&M Grey Cardigan. Size XS. $24.95.
This sweater sheds like a wild animal.

Both items are recent purchases.

  2. Lol!!! I love your comments on both items! I agree about the fit of the skirt, and the locations it should/should not be worn at.

You do look great in it!

  4. You really rock that skirt Ping especially in the side view. It shows off your curve. I like the pattern, very unique.

  5. who would give u weird looks for wearing that??? i think this outfit is totally appropriately for like a dinner date or something! I agree that it's a bit short for work, but it might work if u wear black tights underneath?

Grey always look so classy :)

  6. Love the outfit Ping. I think u might have interpreted the Wow look as weird. I can not see it being weird anywhere outside of work.

  9. I agree that the length is a little awkward. It fits you really nicely though. I also like the print.

  10. The skirt is so tiny! I think it's a great length on you though (shows off those gorgeous stems!) and I laughed out loud last night at your comments about the new purchases when I first read the post. I have always wondered about those cute cardigans at H&M...

  11. the skirt is so hot and you got awesome legs! I find that H&M skirts and forever 21 skirts tend to be on the shorter end, that's what bf always say when I wear them lol but whatever you are only young for so long!

  12. I love the skirt! I have problems finding short skirts but I will look after this one next time I'm visiting H&M. I disagree with you though about it's not suitable for clubs. I don't know what kinds of club you go to but I would definetly wear it on a night out with my girls paired with a nice black top and high heels.

  13. OK here's my take on skirts this length. Definitely not office appropriate. We can all agree on that.

However, mb not short enough for a recently 21 yr old club-rat or even "Vegas"-length, but I think it is totally meant for the "mature" 25 yr old who still has got it and can give all the 21 yr olds a run for their money. and while wearing this skirt and dropping it low, panties wont show, but u can still get the point across. <<Yes, this is an accurate description of me. Wha??? hahahaha. Totally joking btw.

  14. Wow Ping, you're so beautiful! I agree, definitely not office friendly, but still very elegant. Wonder why you were getting strange looks, people were probably just admiring you.

  15. Looks amazing on you!...and I love the print, it's so versatile. I'm going to have to give this skirt a miss (or have my tailor let out the waist) hee hee Seriously, Love it!!

  16. I'm really surprised that you got weird looks because this isn't very short. It's way beneath where shorts would fall and the knotted detail is just so gorgeous. So glad you're posting again - I've missed your entries!
