Wearing:
BR Blouse. XXS Petite.
H&M Skirt. Size 2. $29.95. It goes pass my knee when I'm standing and it's a little too boxy for my liking. Returned!
Vince Camuto Pumps. Size 5.5.
Hey ladies-- I accidentally deleted some pictures and those included bar codes and the rest of the H&M skirt pics. Sorry! So price is going off my memory, don't quote me on it! ;)
Have a great weekend!!!
I like the dress, really nice print! Love that store. Might pay a visit this wknd to look for coat ~ it's 30% off some of them :)
ReplyDeletei love both outfits! i love the look of black opaque tights.

beautiful dress, ping! i absolutely love your second outfit!
ReplyDeleteI love that Satin dress! It's very classy!
ReplyDeleteI love that dress and can't believe it's only $35 (same as that lace skirt). I must've visted H&M 4 times this week and never saw that.
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame that the skirt did not work out. You created an amazing outfit with it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress!
Btw...when I go shopping this weekend, after scouring through LOFT items, I will make a point to look for more "going out at night" items. :) I will try to think..."What would Ping wear?"
I didn't see that dress when I went to H&M yesterday. :) It looks great on you though!
ReplyDeleteDamn, still haven't made it to H&M! That dress is amazing on you. But really, what isn't?
ReplyDeleteYou look so sophisticated and chic in that H&M satin dress! I really like your second look too. The blouse pairs really well with that khaki color but too bad about the fit.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is gorgeous!! Looks very pretty on you. :)
ReplyDeleteThat dress looks amazing on you! I really like the print of the BR top too, and the skirt makes your waist look teeny (well, that's because it is!), but too bad it's too long.
ReplyDeleteThe first dress is so pretty...but is it just me or is it a little weird near the armhole? I think your shoulder and waist are too tiny for the dress but with a cardigan it looks perfect. I am not good at noticing oddities so maybe I am completely off the mark.
ReplyDeleteThe skirt looks so cute at that angle, too bad it's long/boxy/usual monstrosity. I keep trying to find nice work skirts that don't require alterations since my J. Crew ones came back from alterations looking "off"...sigh, the search never ends. I love your H&M skirt reviews because we are of similar height so if they are too long on you they'll sure be too long on me too. Thanks for the reviews!
Did you know that blue and brown are my favorite combo? Tis true. So of course, I love the BR blouse.
ReplyDeleteIt's the freak'n weekend so have a ball!
The print on that first dress is gorgeous and I love the way you paired it with that cardigan, tights, and booties! Gives it such a classic look.
ReplyDeleteThe blouse in the second picture is really pretty too and pairs perfectly with the skirt. It's too bad that the skirt didn't actually work out. Keep on searching!
Thanks Ladies for your sweet comments and stopping by!!
ReplyDeleteMichelle-- lol! can't wait to see what you find!
PetiteXXS-- haha my waist just looks small, because i have big shoulders and hips!
Elle-- I can see what you're saying. I think the dress kind of has the bat wing cut to it. the skirt will totally work on you because your legs are totally longer than mine.
Aubrey-- lol now i do and i won't forget it :P
have a good weekend in SD!
I really like both shoes!!! and good call on the skirt, I'm vertically challenged and hate when skirts fall past the knee on me, it just dwarfs me even more!
ReplyDeleteBoth of your outfits is so cute! I daresay can't pick which one is my favorite. I'm really loving that camel skirt ... so perfect for the fall. Too bad it didn't work on the fit. =0(
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness, you look AMAZING in EVERYTHING! Seriously, you have the best sense of style! I want everything you own! SERIOUSLY! :) Keep these posts coming!
ReplyDeleteI'm so in love with that second outfit, I'm definitely going to try to duplicate for work this week! love it!!
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know if that satin dress is still in stores? I've been dying to find it ever since I saw it! Thanks!!!

ReplyDeleteYour style choices are always on point! That H&M satin dress is a steal at $34.95, and paired with those Michael Kors shoes, it's a winning combination. It's a shame about the H&M skirt, but sometimes fit can be tricky. Speaking of skirts, have you checked out Kostume County's collection? They offer a variety of options, including chic satin western dresses that might just be your next perfect fit! Have a fabulous weekend!
