Sometimes you forget what is in your closet! I did a little digging and fell in love with some of the items all over again.
This is one of my favorite Free People dress. I got awhile ago and have forgotten about it. We parked next to this candy-like car when we got to the mall. Haha I had to snap a picture with it! The fluffy pink thing in the car looks like cotton candy. LOL. It also matches my dress, doesn't it?
Armani Exchange - Devore Velvet Dress. Size - P0. $130.
They are having a deal right now where you spend $150 and you take $50 off.
I initially thought it looked great on the hanger and I really like the velvety texture of the dress. I was attracted to the color since I don't have anything like it. Anyway, I thought the fit on me was just okay and the dress was a little shapeless. I wished it was more fitted from waist down. I decided to pass on this.
Wearing:
Free People Striped Cardigan. XS. (similar here, here & here)

Forever21 Belt. (similar here, here & here)
I saw the Free People dress at Haute Look and was thinking of buying it. I should have!!! I loove your outfits. You are one of my favorite petite fashion bloggers because you wear all the Free People pieces I wish I owned too. Also, we're about the same size, but you are in better shape. Heheh!
ReplyDeleteThe heels you were wearing with the Free People dress, where did you get them? I LOOOVE them!!!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute outfits!! I really love those pictures with you and that awesome car!! :) Following you now.
ReplyDeleteCute day and night outfits! I especially love your nightime outfit! You are great reference for nightlife dressing!
ReplyDeleteI think the Armani dress looks great on you...nothing a belt can't fix!
i love your zebra shrug! haha great pink car too
ReplyDeleteWow the weather is that nice in SF!? You look gorgeous and both day and nighttime outfits. I really love that zebra cardigan as all my night looks are black and that really spruces up an all black outfit. I love bodysuits too...but the stuff from AA is so low and tight...how do you wear a bra underneath? I have a double U neck dress and I have visible bra and panty lines all over the place, even with thongs!
ReplyDeleteI love both of your outfits. You look absolutely stunning in the last photo. I know what you mean about forgetting stuff in the closet. I found stuff with tags still attached in my closet all the times :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are so cool with the lights of the city in the background!....very nice!!! That black dress is super fierce on you, really shows off how tiny you are, and I love your animal print cardi!
ReplyDeleteI love the FP dress and the cardigan on you! You have a fabulous sense of style.
ReplyDeleteApril-- thanks!! I went to FP boutique yesterday and left empty handed. Very disappointed because that never happens! The shoes I'm wearing are Franco Sarto Atlas Sandals -- more details in this post
ReplyDeleteKaren--thanks for stopping by and following! :)
Michelle--thanks! I'd love to see you and everyone else in their going-out/party clothes. The dress should fit perfect for $130 -- so that is why I passed on it.
Angie-- thanks!
Jean--awww thanks :)
it's been warm here the last couple of days. surprising right?
sometimes i wear these sticky petals, but they are not reusable so it's a waste of $$! in this post i'm not wearing anything. hahha...i hate visible any type of lines!
PLG--ohh I know what you mean! I buy so much stuff that sometimes I forget about what's already in my closet. I'm going to make a goal of wear some of my old stuff.
Callandra-- my bf just randomly snaps pics, so no technique involved. hahah! i'm actually wearing a bodysuit and a skirt...it does look like a dress.
SewPetite--thanks you for that sweet comment!
You look gorgeous, I especially like how you paired the AA bodysuit with the FP skirt. That FP dress is also SO pretty, I love the shoes you wore with it. Hopefully we get more good weather like this so I can wear cute dresses too. :)
ReplyDeleteI love your Free People dress and the two first pictures with the fancy pink car. :) Super chic.
ReplyDeleteWow you always look like you're straight out of a magazine!!!
ReplyDeleteI'd like a chance to dig through your closet and gladly take all the things you 'forgot' were there lol. I second the comment about the shoes... I think I might "need" me a pair of those! The grey isn't available anymore though... I'm thinking about the nude color. Do they run small or big do you think?
ReplyDeleteI love your last outfit! You look super sexy and the belt is just cool. I like the way you put up your hair with that dress. Very fitting.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the AA bodysuit on you! Very sexy, indeed =)
ReplyDeleteCute, girly purple dress that you have on Miss Ping! I really like the last outfit as well. You seem to know a great balance between rocker chic and glam. =0D
ReplyDeletePetiteXXS-- haha! yes you need it. the shoes run pretty true to size with a smidgen of room in the back.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies for all you sweet and lovely comments! Appreciate it :)
I see why you like the AX dress~ the color looks great in a velvet mat'l, and looks so evening! Love the last outfit too, esp with that necklace!

ReplyDeleteTrue about it needing for fit perfectly for that much!
ReplyDeleteThere you go, you just created a new PFC..."Nightlife Outfits." :)
So pretty!! :) You look so flirty with all the cute dresses :D I thought the Armani dress suits you well :)
ReplyDeleteAfter reading Jean's comment, I was thinking to myself, "sometimes you just gotta go commando." looks like you confirmed this. HAHAH. I'm never afraid of being caught ;D, usually cuz I'm careful, and I'm not a celeb so I know there wont be any upskirt photos.
